Sunday, June 28th 11:00 am at Burton St. Community Peace Garden/Center in Asheville, NC.
These two amazing women will discuss “belonging” the new book by bell hooks, community, connection to land and Pathways out of Poverty through green jobs. It’s an open, free event, with grilled hormone-free turkey burgers and hot dogs provided by EarthFare and pizzas provided by Digable Pizza with veggies from our community gardens – side dishes encouraged. Those that feel compelled to donate will see their proceeds benefit Asheville Green Opportunities and the Burton St. Community Garden.
