Have y’all heard of Mountain Biz Works?

Mountain Biz Works is an amazing non-profit organization that is offering wanna be entrepreneurs an opportunity to build the skills needed to live our dreams.  No kidding.  And, they do it on a sliding scale.  So, despite the recession, you can still learn what a “unit cost” is, a “break even point,” and even meet some amazing folks in the 8 week Foundations Course (which is a model course for other cities).

Truly, if you:

1. have some ideas about a pipe dream small business

2. continue to talk about a “great idea” you have that no one else is doing

3. want to get a little more information about what it takes to start a business

4. have a business that needs a little TLC or maybe just some networking

Take a look at what Mountain Biz Works has to offer.  Trust me, I really thought it was something that other [math-type] people did.  With the support of Mountain Biz Works, I am living a [laptop] dream life…with the help of a bit of elbow grease, of course.  I also met some amazing people in the process.  Now, I’m a member and benefitting from the Mountain Biz Works networks constantly.
