Haunted, Hysterical, and Not Quite Historical La Zoom Halloween Tours
To hell with the hayride! Take an adult joyride with the big purple performance bus folks, LaZoom, in Asheville’s River Arts District this Halloween.
Spooky, spoofy tours run on the hour from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. from the Rocket Club in West Asheville on October 29 and 30, and on the hour from 9 p.m. to midnight on Halloween night, the 31st. Tickets are $22 and must be purchased in advance. Ticket prices include admission to the Rocket Club for that evening. Bring Your Own Beer (BYOB) or purchase it at the Rocket Club when you load onto the bus.
Quickly becoming a cult classic, LaZoom’s past Halloween Tours have included the Swamp Monster in 2007 and Zombie Celebrity Impersonators in 2008. In 2009, Axe Man haunts the River Arts District. Be prepared for a Warewolf Striptease, a Public Stoning, and live music from Now You See Them.
