I’m rarely bummed about working at the Wedge Brewery on Saturdays because it’s so fun…but I’ll be bummed on November 21. This looks like an amazing workshop.
Transform your old sweaters–you know, the ones ravaged by moth holes, shrunken laundry accidents, stray mittens, etc–into wearable art. You don’t need any fancy equipment, only scissors, yarn, old sweaters and a needle.
The two day class is $175 + materials
Creative Repurposing
In this workshop you’ll learn to creatively repurpose old wool sweaters into wearable art!
By cutting and piecing the salvaged scraps into new shapes, you’ll construct an asymetric layered vest using hand stitches and decorative, functional embellishment.
Expect to leave the class with your own one-of-a-kind garment!
Saturday & Sunday, November 21 & 22
