Oh my. This was fun. And, “The Tourists” (our team, comprised of mostly WNC Magazine folks) won the worst award “Piddy Da Fool.”
The definition for this award, according to the website: THE “I PIDDY DA FOOL” AWARD: To the Individual or Team that seriously needs to get some kahunas and stop speed walking . . . just sayin’.
Whatever. We still had a blast and got a free pitcher of Ninja Porter. Here are two pictures of our team. You can find more pix from Jump Wedding Photography here. Man, did we look like idiots…for a good cause, the 12 Day Project. My favorite team was “The Fondas,” five women dressed in spandex as different 1980s fitness gurus: Olivia Newton John, Jane Fonda, Denise Austin. Classic.
It was great running (er… walking) with you, Susanne!. I can’t wait to see how we do next time around. BTW, take note that Melissa is the one hauling the wheel barrow in that pic above, not me. Chivalry apparently died around the 1-mile mark.
