LEAF is a non-profit organization connecting cultures and creating community through music and arts. It takes place at Lake Eden in Black Mountain the second weekends of May and October each year. They have a wonderful arts and education program called LEAF in Schools & Streets that supports artist residencies in schools and community centers around Buncombe County. And, the LEAF staff is amazing and committed! The festival draws participants and artists from all over the world!
Their deadline for vendors has been extended to Feb. 20! They are calling all handicraft artists to apply for 2010 festivals (May and October here folks). For more info: vendors@theleaf.org
