Greenways, Please video is a collaborative effort of Buncombe County and its municipalities and partners, as well as local businesses and organizations to provide information about the benefits of greenways in a fun format for viewing across the county. I Scream, you scream, we all scream for….Greenways!!
Ultimate Ice Cream is supporting county-wide greenways development with ice cream! “I Scream for Greenways!” Ice Cream campaign is in support for Connect Buncombe’s “Greenways, Please” initiative. Each month one ice cream at Ultimate Ice Cream will be tagged as “I Scream for Greenways!” to help raise awareness of the need for greenways connecting Buncombe County.
During the month of March, Ultimate Ice Cream is giving 100% of profits from “The Trail” ice cream to Connect Buncombe’s county-wide greenway system initiative. The Trail is a smooth, rich Belgian dark chocolate ice cream with marshmallows, mixed nuts and caramel pieces.
Connect Buncombe aims to connect our county with greenways and trails to increase transportation options, physical activity opportunities, increased health benefits, community and economic development.
